Carol Lethaby

Carol Lethaby is from Somerset in England. Before going to college she spent a year in Salzburg, Austria. She has a B.A. in Languages (French and German) and Linguistics from Essex University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of York, where she became a qualified modern language teacher.

Carol then went to live in Greece, which is where she began to teach EFL. She later returned to the U.K. to live in London, teaching French and German to 11-18 year olds.

In 1988 she moved to Mexico to work for the Instituto Anglo-Mexicano de Cultura, where she worked for three years, studying for the RSA Diploma in TEFL. Carol still lives in Guadalajara, Mexico and now works mostly in teacher education as well as textbook writing. She has an M.A. in TESOL from the University of London Institute of Education and is a consultant for the British Council, Mexico, and a lecturer at the University of Guadalajara Department of Modern Languages.

Her hobbies are traveling, movies, music and reading. She lives in a beautiful house in Guadalajara with her four cats.
