Maria Cuder
Ana Maria Cuder is a native of São Paulo, Brazil, and has a degree in English Language and Literature from Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC/SP). She began her teaching career in 1981 as a coordinator at the Instituto Cultural Norte-Americano (CNA), a chain of Brazilian language institutes with almost 300 schools throughout the country. Ana Maria eventually moved to the corporate offices of CNA to work as a teaching director and is now CNAs main teacher trainer and coursebook author. She has written most of CNAs coursebooks including material for teenagers and adults. She has also written young adult and teen material for other Brazilian publishers and was the coauthor of a Brazilian primary course for Macmillan Heinemann ELT. She is currently working on a communicative Spanish course for Portuguese speakers. |
