Banman Sileci
Susan Banman Sileci is a native of Denver, Colorado and has a degree in Linguistics and German from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. She taught ESL at a private language institute in Denver until 1987 when she moved to São Paulo, Brazil to continue her career as an English language teacher. After several years teaching at Brazilian language institutes and working as a private EFL teacher, she accepted a position as editor at Macmillan do Brasil in 1994. She has worked on several major Brazilian ELT courses including Zoom, Impact, New Impact, Spaghetti Kids and Tech Teens. Susan now works as a freelance ELT editor and EFL author and has written adult coursebooks for Brazilian language institutes, activity books for Brazilian middle school children and primary materials for international markets, in addition to coauthoring two of the Skyline Resource Packs and several teachers books. |
